Our Facial Treatments course teaches the students how to perform professional facials. It covers cleansing, toning, exfoliation, warming the skin, facial massage, application of masks and moisturising.
The students will learn to identify skin types and choose the right products accordingly. The course will cover consultation, contra-indications, aftercare, health and safety.
Age 18 plus. No other entry requirements.

A non-refundable deposit is due at booking, with a 14-day period from the date of booking to cancel free of charge. A course booking is only valid after a deposit has been made. An invoice for the remaining course fee will be sent via email 4 weeks before the course date by the tutor. Payment for the remaining course fee is due 14 days before the course date. Accreditation and insurance
The Facial Treatments course is accredited by ‘The Guild of Beauty Therapists’. It is fully insurable. Once insured, you can start to practise.
There will be a maximum of 6 students on each course to ensure that individual attention can be given.
You won’t need to complete any case studies. You will receive your diploma on the day once you have successfully completed your practical assessment and a short test in the afternoon.
Students work on one another.
There is no need to bring a model. Please let us know if you do not wish to be worked on due to medical reasons to enable the tutor to provide a model.
You can repeat the course for a small fee of £20 if required. This applies only if there is at least one other student on the same course.
Continuous Professional Development
The facial treatments course gives you 11 CPD points as approved of ‘The Guild of Beauty Therapists’.
Our Facial Treatment course is not brand specific. This means that you have the freedom to choose the products that you would like to use in your practice.
